Hasan Al-Habib

Hasan Al-Habib is an award winning stand-up comedian.

In 2019, whilst studying at Cambridge, he took a show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. “Footdarks” (the ethnic Footlights whose names you can’t pronounce) was critically acclaimed, being described as “Deliciously funny” by the Guardian.

In 2022, he was a finalist at the Chortle Student Awards. In 2023 he won the B’ham Comedy Festival Breaking Talent Award.

In 2024, his and Aisha Amanduri’s Edinburgh Fringe show “2 Muslim 2 Furious” sold out its entire run at the Festival. The show raised over £3200 for charity, with Rolling Stone declaring “Hasan Al-Habib will be famous in at least two languages very soon with an emphatic stage presence and mainstream appeal”.
